betPawa's Customer Service Week, Styled as a Proper Tea Party
Office appreciation doesn't have to look like balloons taped to a boardroom. We turned one Nairobi office into a tea room for a day.
Make “Thank You” Look Considered
betPawa's Nairobi team wanted to mark Customer Service Week properly, not a sheet cake left in the break room. The brief was a theme that actually said something: “A Tea-riffic Team.”
We built it around three moments: a branded welcome corner at reception with balloon garlands pulled straight from betPawa's own black, green and white; a second, bolder photo corner elsewhere in the office built around a large graphic fist backdrop in satin red, green and gold; and a full high-tea table laid with vintage floral china, gold flatware and fresh florals down a boardroom table with a view over Nairobi.
The detail that ties it together is the “Tea & Tell” signage at the head of the table — a nod to the week's real point, which was giving the team a reason to actually sit down together.
Styling a Working Office
No lawn, no marquee, no venue booking — just a live office on a working day.
Around a Working Day
No marquee to build at our own pace. We set up before the floor filled up and struck it without getting in the way of anyone's actual job.
On-Brand, Not Generic
The balloon garlands were pulled from betPawa's own black, green and white instead of a stock party palette, so the welcome corner read as theirs, not a rented backdrop.
A Boardroom, Not a Garden
No weather to plan around, but no free-standing poles or stakes either. Every chair, runner and centrepiece had to work inside a carpeted meeting room with fixed furniture around it.
Real China, Properly Laid
Vintage floral cups and saucers, stacked and squared on glass chargers at every single place — not a disposable cup anywhere on the table.
